Baseball Recap: Grosse Ile Red Devils vs. Riverview Pirates
Grosse Ile extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-6 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverview Pirates. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, Evan Minnick was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
Looking ahead, Grosse Ile will face off against Lincoln Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverview, they will take on Franklin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
