Basketball Game Preview: Lake Brantley Patriots vs. Seminole Seminoles + How To Watch

The Lake Brantley Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Seminole Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake Brantley has seven straight victories, Seminole has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Lake Brantley is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Lyman: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Patriots blew the Greyhounds out of the water with a 65-34 final score. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Julian Vargas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, as he made all 9 shots he took racking up 23 points and six rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Michael Knight, who had eight points.

Lake Brantley was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lyman only racked up six.

Meanwhile, Seminole was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 53-47 to Lake Mary.

Lake Brantley will have to contain Jayden Aristile as he made an impact in Seminole's last game. He went 5-for-8 en route to 11 points. Juan Tomlinson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lake Brantley, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Lake Brantley barely slipped by Seminole when the teams last played back in January, winning 64-63. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Seminoles' Jorden Pittman, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 26 points. Now that he won't be playing on Monday, will it be easier for the Patriots to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
