Baseball Recap: Duxbury Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Duxbury can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-1 to the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Duxbury's loss dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Duxbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, they will face off against Westwood on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Craftsmen 2.6, the Wolverines 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
