Ovilla Christian entered their tilt with First Baptist on Thursday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ovilla Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-15.

Brenlin Garlitz paced Ovilla Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Garlitz got some help from Sarah Fanning and her 16 assists. Garlitz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ovilla Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-3-1. As for First Baptist, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
