Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chimacum). They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Granite Falls Tigers on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Chimacum's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Granite Falls are ranked 240th).

The victory made it two in a row for Chimacum and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matchups. As for Granite Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chimacum will face off against Cascade Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cascade Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chimacum surely won't give up without a fight. As for Granite Falls, they will take on Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Granite Falls are facing Bear Creek at the right time seeing as Bear Creek are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
