After a string of four wins, Windsor Charter Academy's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They lost  3-0 to the Sterling Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Firebirds of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20,  25-11.
 Ella Grasmick paced Windsor Charter Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Grasmick got some help from  Aubri Penfold and her 18 assists.  Maddie Morse controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Windsor Charter Academy suffered their first home  loss, dropping their record down to 15-7. As for Sterling, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-6.
 Windsor Charter Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  defeat against Resurrection Christian on the 28th. As for Sterling, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Valley on the 28th.
