Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Duluth

The Mountain View Bears will take on the Duluth Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Mountain View is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They had just enough and edged out Cherokee Bluff 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mountain View.

Meanwhile, Duluth put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over Central Gwinnett. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

Duluth's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three games. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Mountain View beat Duluth 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Mountain View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Duluth turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
