Ellsworth is 9-1 against Caribou since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ellsworth hadn't beaten Old Town on the road since April 30, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers stepped up to hand the Coyotes an 8-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Meanwhile, Caribou gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Fort Kent. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Ellsworth's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Caribou, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Ellsworth couldn't quite finish off Caribou in their previous matchup back in June of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
