Basketball Recap: Timothy Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to 11

Timothy Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 55.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 71-37 victory over the Edison Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-33 back in January.

Timothy Christian pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points over those games. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Timothy Christian will square off against South Plainfield at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
