Football Recap: Shrewsbury's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Shrewsbury was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 31-10 to the St. John's Pioneers. The loss put an end to the Colonials' undefeated start to the season.

Leading St. John's to victory were Bradford Perry and Liam Deso. Perry threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, while Deso rushed for 114 yards on only 15 carries. Keegan Spaulding also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shrewsbury fell to 2-1. As for St. John's, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Shrewsbury will host Grafton at 6:00 p.m. on October 4. This will be the Colonials' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for St. John's, they will head out on the road to square off against Hopkinton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
