Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. Beacon

Liberty hasn't had much luck against Beacon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Redhawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Liberty sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Monticello.

Meanwhile, Beacon was able to grind out a solid victory over Monticello on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for Beacon in their matchups with Monticello: they've now won five in a row.

The victory got Beacon back to even at 3-3. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
