Football Recap: Lakeland Piles Up the Points Against Lake Gibson + How To Watch

Lakeland entered their tilt with Lake Gibson on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Braves, posting a 40-0 victory. Given the Dreadnaughts' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Braves are ranked 218th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeland was led to victory by Kevin Hendrix and Joseph Howard. Hendrix rushed for 87 yards and one TD on only nine carries, while Howard picked up 80 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 59 yards.
