Baseball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence and Gibraltar/Washington Island squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Florence had to settle for second. They lost 10-4 to the Vikings.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Gibraltar/Washington Island, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gibraltar/Washington Island, they will face off against Rib Lake on Tuesday. The Redmen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
