Softball Recap: Frontier Falcons vs. Tri-County Cavaliers

Frontier extended their losing streak to seven on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-9. They came up short against the Tri-County Cavaliers, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Luck has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Luck went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs, while Johnson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was Johnson's first of the season.

In other batting news, Anna Kilmer and Kaydence Schultz did most of the damage at the plate: Kilmer went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Schultz went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs Schultz has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailyn Nevitt, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Coming up, Frontier will be playing at home against Lafayette Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-County, they will venture away from home to take on DeMotte Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
