Basketball Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. East Forsyth Eagles

Reagan hasn't had much luck against East Forsyth recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Reagan Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Forsyth Eagles at 8:00 p.m. Reagan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.7 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, Reagan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Mount Tabor. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Spartans are ranked 25th).

Loss or not, Reagan got some senior leadership from Lincoln Jackson and Jayden McCrae. Jackson went 7 for 11 en route to 21 points and five rebounds, while McCrae almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season.

Meanwhile, East Forsyth waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They secured a 59-55 W over the Titans.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for East Forsyth, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
