Meanwhile, Newington was able to grind out a solid win over Windsor on Friday, taking the game 52-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Newington.
Bela Cucuta continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kendall Miller was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Sacred Heart Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Newington, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
