After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Cambria, Bellefonte was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Central Dragons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won six in a row.
While Bellefonte won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 25-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bellefonte to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sloan Moore, who had nine digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Mingle, who had six aces and three digs.
They weren't the only good servers: Bellefonte was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
The victory got Bellefonte back to even at 12-12-2. As for Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.
