Basketball Recap: Valor North Austin Comes Up Short

Valor North Austin lost against Idea Pflugerville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Valor North Austin Lions took a 77-61 bruising from the Idea Pflugerville Wizards.

Idea Pflugerville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kabari Mitchell out in front who posted 25 points. The matchup was Mitchell's 14th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Blessing, who scored 18 points.

Valor North Austin dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Idea Pflugerville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Valor North Austin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Idea Pflugerville, they are taking a road trip to face off against NYOS Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
