Roman Potenzieri posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
