Basketball Recap: Desoto Central Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

DeSoto Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Olive Branch Conquistadors on Saturday, falling 53-31. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Conquistadors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Looking ahead, DeSoto Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olive Branch, they are taking a road trip to challenge Booneville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
