Baseball Recap: Glencoe Comes Up Short

Glencoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Pueblo South Colts.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pueblo South, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Looking ahead, Glencoe will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against O'Connor at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tide's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Pueblo South, they will host Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
