Softball Recap: Wes-Del Takes a Loss

Wes-Del lost against Eastern Hancock back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors lost 8-2 to the Royals. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wes-Del saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee West, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

Wes-Del's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-7. As for Eastern Hancock, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-10 record.

Wes-Del didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-8 victory against Cowan on the 22nd. As for Eastern Hancock, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Shenandoah on the 22nd.
