Baseball Recap: Fall Mountain Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kearsarge on Monday, Fall Mountain came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Monadnock Huskies on Wednesday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost six in a row.

Fall Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Monadnock, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fall Mountain will challenge rival Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Monadnock is set to square off against their familiar foe Hopkinton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
