Basketball Game Preview: Antioch Bears vs. Cane Ridge Ravens

Antioch hasn't had much luck against Cane Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Antioch Bears will host the Cane Ridge Ravens at 6:00 p.m.

Antioch is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were beaten by McGavock 49-19.

Cane Ridge meant business on Tuesday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Bobcats squad that has allowed just 24.33 points per contest. Cane Ridge managed a 62-58 victory over Overton. The score was all tied up 30-30 at the break, but the Ravens were the better team in the second half.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cane Ridge, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Antioch came up short against Cane Ridge in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 45-40. Can Antioch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
