Basketball Recap: Lakota Tech Tatanka vs. Hill City Rangers
The Lakota Tech Tatanka scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Hill City by a score of 92-80. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Gilbert White Jr., who scored 27 points along with seven steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Riley Casey, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists.
Lakota Tech has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Hill City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakota Tech's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Thorpes at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Hill City will take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
