A feisty cat fight will be fought as Chapel Hill Tigers duke it out with River Mill Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chapel Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Chapel Hill took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against Athens Drive, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Chapel Hill narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Athens Drive 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Channing Clark spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 11 Ks.

River Mill's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Chapel Hill, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Chapel Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. However, it's not like River Mill struggles in that department as they've averaged .582. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
