Volleyball Recap: High Tech SD Comes Up Short

The High Tech SD Storm lost 3-0 to the Mission Hills Grizzlies on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-13.

Mission Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ever Lanier led the charge by getting 11 assists. That's the most assists Lanier has posted since back in August.

High Tech SD has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Mission Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. High Tech SD will head out to face off against Madison at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mission Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Oceanside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
