Volleyball Recap: Bassett Has No Trouble Against Halifax County

Bassett won the last time they faced Halifax County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bengals put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Bassett never let Halifax County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-26, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Kaylyn Graham, who had 42 digs and four assists. Those 42 digs gave her a new career-high.

Bassett is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Halifax County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Bassett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Roanoke Catholic on the 23rd. Halifax County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
