Soccer Game Preview: Phoenix Military vs. Prosser

The Phoenix Military Firebirds will square off against the Prosser Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Phoenix Military will be strutting in after a victory while Prosser will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Phoenix Military turned things around against Goode STEM Academy on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Knights.

Phoenix Military hit Goode STEM Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ana Villegas (2), America Carreon, and Samantha Cruz.

Meanwhile, Prosser fell victim to Foreman and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The loss continues a trend for Prosser in their meetings with Foreman: they've now lost three in a row.

Phoenix Military's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Prosser, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Phoenix Military came out on top in a nail-biter against Prosser in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Firebirds repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
