Basketball Recap: Hood River Valley Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Hood River Valley's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Hillsboro Spartans by a score of 37-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-45 back in January.

Hood River Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.0 points over those games. As for Hillsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles challenge the Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. La Salle has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 165 points over their last three games. As for Hillsboro, they will challenge Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
