It was a good run, but Vanguard Academy Rembrandt unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against IDEA Edinburg College Prep, falling 53-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-16 back in December of 2024.

Vanguard Academy Rembrandt's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanguard Academy Rembrandt will challenge IDEA North Mission at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vanguard Academy Rembrandt's defense has only allowed 27.7 points per game this season, so IDEA North Mission's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, they will take on Idea Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
