Lincoln-Way West faced Bradley-Bourbonnais in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 17-9 margin over the Boilermakers. Considering the Warriors have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Lincoln-Way West and bumps their season record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lincoln-Way West is set to face off against their familiar foe Stagg at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais will take on rival Homewood-Flossmoor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
