Basketball Recap: Monmouth Academy Takes a Loss

Monmouth Academy was the 64-46 winner over Madison when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Monmouth Academy Mustangs lost to the Madison Bulldogs on the road by a 54-39 margin on Monday. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Monmouth Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Madison, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Monmouth Academy will head out to square off against Lisbon at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Mountain Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Madison is facing Mountain Valley at the right time seeing as Mountain Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
