Central Sequoia recap November 19, 2013

Exeter took down Rosamond 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Adin Trujillo threw for 102 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

The Monarchs led Central Sequoia in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Roadrunners. Trujillo during the win.

Exeter's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Austin Cardoza contributed 84 yards. Chad Zeibak helped Exeter's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 43 yards.

He was 4-5 with 0 interceptions.

Matt Valle made the biggest impact on defense this week as Ben White's team beat Rosamond. The 6-foot-2 senior nabbed 1 interception and grabbed 1 sack.

Trujillo put up the best numbers in passing as the Monarchs topped Kris Krempien's team. Trujillo's favorite target this week was Alex Cortez, who caught 4 passes for 122 yards.

6-foot-2 quarterback Marcus McMaryion of Dinuba is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,026. He has also thrown 21 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cortez. The Exeter star has 36 catches for 730 yards.

Going into this week's contest against Lemoore, Kingsburg's Brandon Steele needs 145 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 16 touchdowns this year, Steele has thrown for 1,855 yards with 8 interceptions.

Exeter had a great defensive game this week, leading the league in points allowed with 0.
