Recap: Walden Grove Red Wolves vs. Rio Rico Hawks
The Walden Grove Red Wolves waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They managed a 64-59 win over Rio Rico. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Ashton Romney, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jackson Klump, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Walden Grove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Rio Rico, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Walden Grove will look to defend their home court on Friday against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. As for Rio Rico, they will head out on the road to square off against Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
