The Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys are taking a road trip to challenge the Nelson County Governors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nelson County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy turned things around against William Campbell on Thursday. They came out on top against the Generals by a score of 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 19-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Nelson County came up short against Appomattox County on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Governors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-15.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Nelson County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy took their victory against Nelson County in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ospreys since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
