Basketball Recap: Murphysboro Takes a Loss

Murphysboro lost against Herrin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Murphysboro Red Devils fell 60-50 to the Herrin Tigers. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Murphysboro's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Herrin, the victory snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 8-16 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Murphysboro will welcome Eldorado at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Herrin, they will challenge Massac County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
