Mason Truesdale put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Truesdale's strong effort led Billingsley over Verbena and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
