It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Bel Air Highlanders ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Parkland with a 48-42 win. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Bel Air's defensive line made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Jesus Lopez and his two sacks.
Bel Air's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Parkland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
