Baseball Recap: Caliche Falls Short of Otis in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Caliche can now relate to. They came up short against the Otis Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 10-3. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Zander Yost made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Caliche's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Otis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Caliche does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Otis, they will face off against Haxtun at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
