Deerfield took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Dodgeland Trojans 37-14. The Demons not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23, 2024 (when they won 48-0).

Deerfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kai Haines, who rushed for 90 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Haines also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Noah Maginn also helped with two TDs in total.

Deerfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 57-12 defeat against Johnson Creek on the 28th. As for Dodgeland, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-12 loss against Fall River/Rio on the 29th.
