Soccer Game Preview: West Point vs. Poquoson

West Point has won four straight games at home, while Poquoson has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Pointers will welcome the Bull Islanders at 5:30 p.m. West Point knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Poquoson likes a good challenge.

On Monday, West Point got the win against Middlesex by a conclusive 6-1. The result was nothing new for West Point, who have now won 12 contests by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five matchups, Poquoson finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Smithfield. Poquoson haven't had much luck with Smithfield recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Poquoson's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for West Point, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-1.
