Basketball Recap: Oshkosh West Piles Up the Points Against Appleton West

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hortonville, Oshkosh West was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Appleton West Terrors 62-25. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Terrors are ranked 380th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the win, Oshkosh West broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9. As for Appleton West, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Oshkosh West has already played their next match (against Oshkosh North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Appleton West will be playing at home against Kimberly at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
