Recap: Stratford Knights vs. North Myrtle Beach Chiefs
The Stratford Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to North Myrtle Beach 57-53. While losing is never fun, Stratford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while North Myrtle Beach is ranked 26th).
Despite the loss, Stratford still got an impressive performance from Zanquel Baldwin, who scored 20 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Baldwin continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Elijah Riley was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for North Myrtle Beach, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.
