Volleyball Recap: Central Dauphin East Has No Trouble Against Reading

Central Dauphin East barely beat Reading the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Central Dauphin East was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Reading on Friday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red KNights, too.

Central Dauphin East got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 30-28.

Ahn-Toan Bui paced Central Dauphin East's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bui got some help from Pramesh Gurung and his 30 assists. Bui was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Dauphin East and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Reading, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Dauphin East will venture away from home to take on Central Dauphin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reading, they will head out to square off against Berks Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
