Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Benjamin Davis). They came out on top against the Caney Creek Panthers by a score of  9-5  on Saturday.
 Jackson Taylor was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Devin Simth, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Benjamin Davis  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts in three consecutive  matchups.
Benjamin Davis' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Caney Creek,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Benjamin Davis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  12-4  defeat against Oak Ridge on the 1st. As for Caney Creek, they will be taking part in a tournament against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial  at 1:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
