Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Mason Villalpando stepped things up a notch to give Edcouch-Elsa the 'W'. Villalpando picked up 34 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 37 yards, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Villalpando and Edcouch-Elsa will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mercedes at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
