Softball Recap: Irvin Comes Up Short

Irvin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors, falling 20-5. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Irvin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tiffany Ocon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double was Ocon's first of the season.

Irvin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Santa Teresa, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Irvin will take on Da Vinci at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Teresa, they will head out to square off against Horizon at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
