Reserve took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Hondo Valley by a score of 62-52. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mountaineers considering their 25-point performance the match before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 60 points the game before, Quemado was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They lost 52-30 to Cliff. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Cowboys/Cowgirls since January 21, 2023.

Reserve's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Quemado, they dropped their record down to 11-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
