Baseball Recap: Copperas Cove Takes a Loss

Copperas Cove blew Shoemaker out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Shoemaker got their revenge. The Bulldawgs fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-2. The Bulldawgs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Copperas Cove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matai Anzaldua, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Copperas Cove's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Shoemaker, the win got them back to even at 9-9-2.

While Copperas Cove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
